Good and exciting but too much waiting time with a family with very scared children which made it a bit boring for our children

Had a great day out. Adrian H was very interesting. The tea scone and jam at our first rainforest stop was excellent. The crocodile cruise was good fun. We did see 3 crocs but probably would not have seen them without the knowledge of our cruise guide. All our stops were interesting and different. Great lunch too with special heart ballons for valentine’s day. Cape Tribulation beach was stunning but disappointing as too many hazards to be relaxing! As in the animal that could appear. The ice cream was good too.

It was a great excursion. We stopped at the animal park and got to feed the kangaroos. We saw some crocodiles during the cruise. We swam in the river; the water was very pleasant. The lunch was good. I would have liked to have spent more time walking along the park's trails.

The driver (who also served as our guide) picked us up at the hotel at 6:50 am that morning, then went to another hotel to pick up other members of our group. The city center wasn't large, and the group was small, so we set off quickly. Along the way, the guide introduced us to various restaurants, including seafood, Thai, and Chinese food, explaining everything while driving and using a microphone. We first went to Port Douglas, then to the zoo, where we were served morning tea – a cake for each person, along with juice, coffee, and tea. In the rainforest, the guide led us on a 30-minute walk, followed by 20 minutes of commentary. Cape Tribulations is a beautiful beach, and we finally took a boat trip to see the crocodiles. Lunch was a buffet with salads and bread; for our main course, we could choose steak, fish, or burgers – a very generous spread. After lunch, we even got to try the only ice cream in the park, with three flavors for each person. The whole trip was relaxed and enjoyable; we ate our fill, the guide was enthusiastic and provided excellent explanations, and finally, he took us back to our hotel or offered us the option to have dinner at the food street – very considerate. A word of caution: because the guide speaks English, the signal in the rainforest is poor, so you'll need to understand English to communicate.
