I used it from Lao Cai, the border with China. I used it because the bus ride was long. As expected, there were some issues with the signal not reaching the country in some places, but that's to be expected. Overall, I was able to use it comfortably!

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
