We had a wonderful day out, visiting Luxembourg City and Dinant. So fortunate with the weather too, which of course is down to luck on the day. I’d visited LC 35 years ago when a student, so saw it through different eyes this time and loved it again even more. Our guide and driver were both superb and I’d recommend the trip as a great opportunity to see beyond Brussels in a comfortable and easy way.

Overall it is definitely not cheap, but you can travel on trains around Europe as many times as you want during the period, flexible and convenient, especially for last minute travelers. Keep in mind in countries like Spain, Italy and France, the reservation fee is expensive and can add up quickly, so you need to plan ahead. Also, in most countries, the app cannot be used in the tickets gates automatically, and must seek help from staff. Hope they can improve it.
