I went to the walking tour with friends. I didn't know Minami area had so many hidden gems. Specially, the different art exhibitions as I am very interested in Art. We got to speak to a few local people and visited the biggest bamboo factory in Oita! There were quite a few quirky shops for gifts. I also loved the cozy, aesthetic cafes. The tour guide was bilingual and very friendly. I would recommend it!

The best decision I made on this Fukuoka trip! Kusu Rest Area & Beppu Kamado Jigoku 🌋 -> Watched the fascinating hot spring steam performance and munched on hot spring eggs! 🥚 Mt. Yufu Scenery ⛰️ -> The view of Mt. Yufu from the bus window was truly artistic... It's a spot for the perfect photo of a lifetime! 📸 Yufuin Hot Spring Village ♨️ -> Just walking through the tranquil streets was pure healing 🌾 Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine ⛩️ -> Made a wish in the antique atmosphere and enjoyed delicious mochi for passing exams 😋 💌 Thank you so much, Guides Hyunjin Park & ​​Daisuke! Guide Hyunjin, who kept us entertained throughout the journey with your witty banter and shared tons of Japanese culture and great tips, leaving us with no dull moments! 🎤 Thanks to you, the depth of the tour was completely different. I highly recommend this Beppu-Yufuin day trip! The entire experience was perfect, and a special thank you to our guide, Daisy! She was professional and thoughtful, the itinerary was well-planned and not rushed, and ample time was allocated for sightseeing and taking photos at each attraction. She also thoughtfully recommended local delicacies and offered tips on avoiding tourist pitfalls. She patiently answered all my questions, and the pace of the trip was relaxed and comfortable, allowing me to easily visit two of Kyushu's most popular destinations. It was an incredibly therapeutic and perfect trip, excellent value for money, and I'll definitely choose this company again next time I'm in Kyushu!

I highly recommend everyone try this JR Pass, as it is extremely convenient and worth it, especially for solo travellers. It can help you save a lot on transportation costs. However, make sure to check your itinerary carefully, as this JR Pass does not cover every attraction or area, and some places may require local trains instead.

The itinerary was well-planned, and our tour guide, Li Jing, was a fun-loving woman from Northeast China. She was humorous, organized the group effectively, and even proactively helped families take photos. The small group of 20 people was also very punctual. Overall, it was a very cost-effective group tour.
