I accidentally installed two eSIM cards on one iPhone, and when I asked if I needed to buy a new one, they quickly arranged for me to install a new eSIM card, which was very helpful. The eSIM card itself connected without any problems in cities like Denpasar, but the signal was weak in the eastern countryside. I think it will work fine unless you're going to a particularly rural area.

Used this Indonesia eSIM on a recent trip and it did exactly what I needed. Activation via QR code was instant and I was online within minutes, no store visits or physical SIMs. Coverage was solid in cities and tourist areas, with fast speeds most of the time and no unexpected dropouts. The 24 hour billing model is worth noting, days are counted from activation time, not calendar days, but as long as you plan around that it is fine. Data allowances were as advertised and tethering worked without issues. The “ChatGPT available” wording is marketing fluff and not really relevant, but it does not affect the service itself. Overall, a reliable and convenient option for short stays in Indonesia. I would use it again for travel where simplicity matters more than absolute cost.

I used this when I went to Vietnam. I had a layover in Hong Kong on my way to Vietnam, and then went to Shenzhen (China). I bought this SIM because it covers three regions. Once I entered each region, I was able to receive a signal normally, so I was able to use it without any problems. However, I was surprised that LTE or 3G lines were the mainstay (in Shenzhen, 5G was available for a brief moment, but it quickly switched back to LTE). I did think it would be nice if it had at least 4G. It's cheap, so it's okay.
