Host is absolutely outstanding, knowledgeable on local area, history and went above and beyond for us. True Cambodia experience. Local to Battambang and knows the area well. Highlight is Bat cave and temple, killing cave on mountain. Well organised, 5* guide and would highly recommend for both price and experience throughout.

I had a wonderful day exploring Battambang with Sambol. From the start, he was genuine, knowledgeable, and full of passion and energy. The tour was perfectly planned — we visited local workshops and beautiful countryside. The bamboo train ride was great fun, and the Killing Caves were deeply moving. Sambol shared fascinating insights into Cambodia’s past and present, making every stop meaningful. Fantastic afternoon. The bamboo railway was exhilarating, The Killing Caves were educational and so peaceful when you consider their past. And the Bat Cave was phenomenal.

We had a great day with Somal! I think we experienced everything there was to see in Battambang. We had the history, rat bbq, temples, monkeys, sunsets, bat caves, and countryside. Everything was explained to us, the lunch was amazing, and water was provided!

The Battambang tour was awesome!! Samol, our guide, was a blast. Super funny local guy, he was able to blend presenting historical and cultural knowledge with simply giving a sense of the local flavor. Was able to see the tourist sites but also get a sense of Battambang that I probably would not have gotten otherwise. I’m not normally a ‘guided tour’ person but I’m super glad I did it and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Samol!!

Pao was an amazing guide. Much more than just a Tuk Tuk driver he also went into detail about every place we visited. We learned a lot about country living. Pao, like most people in Cambodia, has an additional job, he is a farmer. He brought us to a number of farms and explained the way of farming in great detail. He was also a Buddhist monk for two years and we learned a lot about that life as well. The tour was not only to the attractions but also about Cambodian life.


