A must-have for Aussies traveling to Asia – huge savings compared to roaming
Rating: 5/5. This was my second time using this eSIM, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer for Australians traveling to Asia.
I did the math, and the cost savings are significant. To put it in perspective, I looked at the big Australian telcos' roaming fees:
· Vodafone & Optus have a daily roaming rate of AUD $5 for international data.
· Telstra's similar plan will cost you AUD $10 per day.
For a 10-day trip, that's an eye-watering AUD $50 to $100 in roaming fees alone.
Then there's the value when compared to other eSIMs. For example, a popular provider like Airalo charges around AUD $37.50 for a 10GB/30-day plan for a single country like Indonesia. I bought the SIM card for a trip to Latin America, and it worked everywhere except Bolivia, as stated in the plan. In Peru, the connection was often lost, and I had to manually select a carrier, but this could be due to the mountainous terrain. Overall, I recommend it.★

I bought five for my family. One of my iPhones had trouble connecting, but the supplier's support helped get it working properly. It was convenient to be able to see which ones were individually installed and activated. I wish there was an additional discount for buying multiple units.
