I joined this tour when planning my first trip to Austria as a graduation trip. ✈️ It was safer than going to Hallstatt on my own, and most importantly, the tour guide and staff were very kind and helpful, so I felt at ease. We had about two hours of free time in Hallstatt, which was just the right length. In Salzburg, we had a brief guided tour for the first few minutes, followed by free time. Both guides explained things in relatively simple English, which even a Japanese person like me could understand. 🙌🏻 I joined with a friend this time, but if I have the chance to visit Austria again, I'd like to join with my partner or family!★

The Shangri-La's Sariah Hotel in Sabah was excellent. Since it was our honeymoon, we informed Ctrip customer service of our travel plans over the phone. Ctrip then notified the hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised when we entered our room. The bed was covered with a large heart of roses, and the hotel's housekeeping manager had written us a greeting card, along with fruit and chocolates – very thoughtful! Thank you to Ctrip customer service for contacting the hotel so promptly; it added an unexpected surprise to our trip. I will definitely choose Ctrip again for my next independent trip; it's truly convenient and reliable. Thank you!★

This half day tour is a great and convenient way to visit Hallstat. It is of course more expensive than taking the train or public bus+ferry to get to Hallstat, but it is certainly a time-saver. It's essentially a direct bus trip to Hallstat with a bit of commentary of interesting places that we passed and some history. Once you reached Hallstat, you will go around on your own for about 2.5 hours and the bus will come to pick up at a certain time. The 1.5 hours ride is comfortable and there's a power point at your seat if you need to charge your phone.
