You can purchase it right before your trip, or in advance. After payment, you'll receive a voucher that needs to be scanned at the terminal. You'll need a working internet connection, as the QR code will update after a while, and you'll get a different one at the exit. At Nagoya Station, you can use the code to exit through the West and Central exits, but not the South exit.★
