We were picked up from the hotel in a minivan. After waiting for the second group of passengers at a gas station, we boarded a large, luxury sleeper bus for 24 passengers. The bus has a bathroom, massage beds, and insulated capsules. IMPORTANT! If you're taller than 170 cm, it's uncomfortable—you'll have to sleep on your side with your knees tucked in, as my husband, who's 178 cm tall, couldn't fit even diagonally.

There were no major discrepancies between the reservation information and the actual bus. I used the bus around the end of July, and because it was so hot in Hue at that time of year, visiting multiple locations by foot or bicycle was impractical, so I'm glad I used it. -------・The reception box was a little off-location compared to the map, but the red box was easy to spot near the landmark, so it wasn't a problem. ・I printed out my Trip.com voucher (in English and Japanese) and showed it to the receptionist, but she seemed confused. In the end, I used a translation app and they were able to find my ticket, assuming I'd paid. ・You'll be given a printed copy of your ticket receipt, which you'll need for each ride. Be careful not to lose it. Since I was the first person there in the morning and had a 24-hour ticket, they hand-wrote a note saying "9 o'clock." ・The driver and a girl will attend to you. The girl will ask you where you want to go and stop the bus for you. If you're not good at English, you can use a translation app to communicate.・The bus will go around the route in order, but will not stop if there are no passengers getting on or off. When I was near my destination, a girl would always tell me "What time is the next bus and where should I be?" I was often told to return to the same location in about an hour. ◆Others・I wanted to get off at bus number 10 and move around, but I was initially advised to get off and get on in order, so I did. ・There are also free earphones near the boarding door, so if you plug them in at your seat you can listen to the tourist information in Japanese. ・At the departure point, an unaffiliated man on a motorbike taxi will talk to you as if he were an affiliate. It's a good way to kill time, but be careful.
