I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.★

The SIM card from Oceans Asia was a lifesaver—super cheap and incredibly easy to set up. For the most part, I had solid 5G coverage, though there were times it would drop down to 4G and get stuck there. Whenever that happened, I just had to go into my settings and manually select a different operator to get the 5G back up and running, but once I did that, it worked perfectly fine again.★
