One of the highlights of our Almaty trip. The 17-hour tour covered Charyn Canyon, Saty Village, Kaindy Lake, and Kolsai Lake and was very well organised. The home-cooked lunch at Saty Village was simple but heartwarming. The old Soviet bus ride to Kaindy Lake was a unique experience. Our English guide, Saya, was very kind and attentive, and the driver was steady and professional throughout the long journey. Small group of only 8 people, clean van, and we even had extra time to visit Black Canyon. Definitely worth it.

Nature and the route 👌 I wish we'd spent a little more time at the lakes. The only thing is, we booked a Russian-speaking guide to hear interesting facts about the places, but it turned out that there were only two Russian speakers in the entire group, and they often forgot to translate for us (we don't know English, so sometimes we had to ask).

This was a great way to start the day in Almaty, Dimitri are guide, was very knowledgeable about any questions we had, he told stories about history, the science, and even personal tales of Almaty lake. And of course it is super beautiful! Bring good hiking shoes.

Excellent trip! The guide Ais is very informative and helpful. Everything went smooth. On the way back we experienced heavy traffic but finally we were dropped off to nearest metro and Ais helped us in the station making sure all got the transportation mode to their accommodation, rather than to sit for another 2 hours inside the bus. Overall, giving them 2 thumbs up.
