The approximately three-hour break between arriving at the port at the end of the Geiranger fjord and departing back to Ålesund is too long because there is nothing interesting to do there.

Beautiful boat trip, great value for money. The fjords are stunning! We saw a lot and were so lucky with the weather on the way to Øye. On the way back to Ålesund it was raining so we sat inside and enjoyed the view from there. The staff was super friendly. I recommend this trip.

This was a wonderful excursion with beautiful scenery! Would 100% recommend. The boat ride was as comfortable as it was beautiful, with refreshments available for purchase and English narration. Several stops made along the bus portion with interesting things to see/take photos of. First time the bus I was on took a ferry (short ride, no bridge), so that was an experience! The only suggestion I would make is to take some snacks with you as the lunch stop was not long enough to actually get anything to eat! Only place open was a pizza place that baked to order, so wouldn’t be ready in time. Was concerned at first that we wouldn’t be back in time for our ship, but soon found out that there were various tour groups on the same boat and that they had things under control. If you are concerned, make sure to ask!
