The instructor was very nice and would even skate backwards with you. He was humorous and fun, but it got a bit tiring towards the end. I recommend bringing some rope gloves, as they can be a bit tight on your hands. They provide a buffet lunch with about 4-5 dishes, which is fine for a light meal. The restaurant has a terrace that's great for taking photos.

This package is value for money, get to experience local market w guide, visit the cooking school’s garden and their resident tortoises George and Sarah. Next, we get to prepare Thai milk tea and choose 3 dishes from category of soup, curry, and stir-fried main dishes to prepare and eat. Followed by making of mango sticky rice. Honestly, it’s too much food for me so pls go with an empty stomach! Lastly, we are presented with a cook book with the recipes and certificate of attendance. The staff were all friendly and fun.

After breakfast, I took a taxi to Thapae Gate to take pictures. I took a few pictures by myself first, and then I saw someone who would take pictures for 100 baht and chase away pigeons for me. It was a great place to take pictures. After taking pictures, there are some drink shops nearby. If it is very hot at noon, you can also find a massage place to rest, walk around and take pictures. Be careful to protect yourself from the sun! The sun is still very strong.

The roads are flat, making it easy to stroll at a leisurely pace without having to rush. There are small shops and rest seats everywhere, so you can stop and rest when you get tired and soak in the simple atmosphere of the old city. It is perfect for bringing elders to explore in peace.

We arrived at the famous Grandma's Kitchen! 😋 The teacher was very attentive and helpful, introducing us to many different ingredients. The environment was great and worth the price. Homemade food always tastes so good! We finished everything. I highly recommend trying it if you have the chance.
