Reviews: Kimono Rental Experience in Kyoto by Sakakujing
Guest User2025-12-23
The people here were so kind and I had a very comfortable time getting ready and getting my hair done. The ladies here were so sweet and professional. I definitely recommend renting your kimonos here as they were beautiful and the hair styling was also so pretty. They also offer kimono insurance for around 500 yen or so, which I definitely recommend because going to temples in your kimono or indulging in some sweet treats; accidents happen, and it'll save you a big fee!
Reviews: [Official Ticket] JR PASS Kansai Wide Area Railway Pass 5-Day (E-Redemption Voucher)
Guest User2025-10-25
For my 6-day, 5-night trip, I bought a 5-day Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass. It was an incredible value! It took me from Kansai Airport to my hotel, then to Himeji Castle, then to the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Then, I went to Wakayama and Shirahama, even using the Kodama Tram at Kishike Station, and finally back to Kansai Airport. It was incredibly practical and saved me money!
Reviews: [Official Ticket] JR Kansai Mini Rail Pass 3-Day Pass (WEST QR code entry)
Guest User2025-11-10
This pass is truly the best value for your Kansai trip. Transportation costs are often a major concern when traveling in Japan, but this mini pass allows you to use the JR lines at a truly great price. I used this pass for a round-trip from Kansai Airport to Kyoto, and aside from the transfer at Osaka Station, it was a very satisfying trip.
Reviews: JR Sanyo & San'in Area Pass 7-Day (e-ticket)

In Kyushu, you can get a pass at the West JR offices. It's only valid on Shinkansen trains up to Shin Osaka. If you accidentally end up going to Kyoto, you'll have to pay extra from Shin Osaka to Kyoto.
