A great walk with a great guide - Sami was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and showed us some fantastic views. In return, I taught him that elephants have 5 fingers. Good laugh, would highly recommend.
Reviews: Munnar: Tea trail, Tea Factory, and Tea Tasting Tour
Guest User2026-08-18
We had an amazing time walking with Mani through the tea plantation. He was excellent at pointing out different facts and stories as we walked. It was beautifully serene and was the perfect start to the tour. We then went to the factory and Mani showed us around the different areas and talked us through the process in perfect detail. To end, we had a tea tasting session and Mani informed us of the different types and benefits of each. All in all we had a super informative, super fun morning and would highly recommend.
Reviews: Munnar mountain hiking (Full day)

I had the pleasure of having Mani as my guide. It was an amazing hike, plenty of time to enjoy the amazing environment and his countless stories. The hike was generally easy, but at times it could be a bit more challenging but here we slowed down and took our time. Will highly recommend this hike!
Reviews: Munnar: Half day Guided Trek

The tour was very enjoyable and offered a lot despite the constant rain and fog. There were magnificent views of the surrounding landscape, even in bad weather. Our guide told us a great deal about tea in general and tea cultivation in particular. He also explained a lot about the flora and fauna within the tea plantation. Although the plantation is very close to Munnar, the chances of seeing bison or elephants are quite high. With a lot of luck, you might even spot tigers or leopards. On our tour, we saw many elephant tracks and a bison. The hike was manageable despite the weather. The fitness requirements are quite low. Good footwear and a certain degree of sure-footedness are necessary. Long trousers are highly recommended because of the bush and the presence of leeches.
