Andres was an excellent guide very informative and helpful. It was great to learn about experiences, history, and contributions of Afro-Colombians to the city of Cali and to Colombia as a whole. You get to see both some of the known tourist attractions but also some places off the beaten path that really show how everyday caleños/caleñas live which is nice and highlights the city. Along the way I also got to try some local food which was tasty. I would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting Cali, whether you’re interested in history, culture, or just want to see the city you can’t go wrong with this tour.

Juan did an amazing job giving us both a history and food tour! We were a large group (10 of us) and he patiently waited 10-15 mins for us (the traffic is no joke). Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour and we all learned more about Colombias history.

Honestly such an amazing tour! Carlos Mario was awesome and full of energy, and veeeery patient teaching me salsa (and translating to English too). With multiple stops we got to see the many sides of the salsa world in Cali - from the history in a museum, to a very special local record bar, and topping it off with the craziness of the Friday night street salsa party. It was so authentic and something not to be missed.


