We spent a very pleasant day in Ohrid with Vlad! He's a good driver, and he's able to entertain without being intrusive, and is informative without being redundant. He deserved 5/5 stars. Lastly, Ohrid is a gem as well, definitely worth it.

The quad tour started a bit slowly, but there was a reason for that: the operation of the quads was explained well, as well as why we needed to take it easy at the beginning, especially because you ride close to the mountain ridges. After that, it became much more fun with challenging sections and beautiful photo spots along the way. Back at the location, we were able to sit comfortably on the terrace and enjoy a stunning sunset. All in all, a great experience!

The day with Sonja and her family was one of the most beautiful experiences of my travels. We were embraced by tradition and a love for Macedonian cooking. The surrounding area, where the class takes place, is a relaxing setting outside the city. The pick up from Ohrid city was well orchestrated and made for an easy trip. The food, the food, well, it was delicious and true Macedonian cooking, just like Baba made it. We were sent home with treats as we could not eat all the food we cooked. I highly recommend this experience for more than a delicious meal, a peek into the soul of this amazing country.

One of the most beautiful experiences we had during our trip to Ohrid! The visit to Monastery Winery was truly special: a small, family-run business that exudes passion and authenticity in every detail. The man who accompanied us on the tour was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He enthusiastically told us the history of the winery and also showed us the distillation area, carefully explaining the entire process. Seeing up close how the wines we later tasted are made was a huge added bonus. The tasting was spectacular: delicious wines, beautifully presented, and paired with a generous platter of local cured meats and cheeses. And as if that weren't enough, they also treated us to a fantastic BBQ, completely unexpected and truly appreciated! A welcoming, authentic, and well-kept place, where you feel like a guest, not just a visitor. A small winery that absolutely deserves to be discovered and supported.


