We made sure you to get there earlier as we did with all our activities in Plett. They way we get a smaller group on the tours. We moved to NZ from SA many years ago and brought our daughter to SA for the first time to experience the African bush. This tour allowed her to get up close to the animals and having the tour geared for kids was very informative plus she got a certificate she can take home and show her friends in NZ.★

What an unforgettable experience. Our township tour was both eye-opening and deeply moving, offering a genuine glimpse into everyday life, culture and community. We were welcomed with such warmth and authenticity and it was incredible to witness the resilience, spirit and creativity that thrive within the township. One of the absolute highlights was visiting the nursery school, filled with the cutest, most well-behaved little children. Their joy, manners and bright energy were something truly special to experience. It made it even more meaningful knowing that the funds from the tours go directly towards supporting this school and its children. This wasn’t just a tour, it was a real connection and a powerful reminder of the impact of giving back. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a genuine, human perspective beyond the usual tourist experience.★

Better mosquito repellent should be offered in Monkeyland, as there are a lot of mosquitoes there and the repellent provided in the park only protects for about two minutes. Birds of Eden is really worth seeing and very beautiful.★

The guide was very knowledgable and gave us so much info. He genuinely cares for animals he looks after. They have all been rescued from various places and they cannot be returned to the Wild as they would be unable to look after themselves
