I visited early on a weekday morning and the visit was so peaceful! I enjoyed learning about the history of the monastery that includes how it became a monastery, daily life of the nuns, food and food preparation, sleeping quarters, washing clothes, burial practices, and worship. The garden and burial quarters were so peaceful and wonderful to visit!β

Delightful 5 hour tour with a local driver. He took us to good photo points at the main harbor, then drove us to the old fishing village where we spent an hour with the fishing boats and shopping. Then he took us to the blue lagoon view point, then the Western cliffs, finally for a visit to Mdina old walled town before returning to the ship. It was a great value, with a friendly personable driver/ guide.β
