I went on a Kyoto tour with my family in January, and it was a truly satisfying trip. From the moment we boarded the tour bus early in the morning until the end of the trip, our guide, Haehwa, shared a wealth of valuable information about living in Japan. This was incredibly helpful not only for our Kyoto trip but also for our subsequent independent trip to Osaka. The tour bus was staffed entirely by Koreans, which made it comfortable. While I was a bit worried about the language barrier, our guide, Haehwa, provided detailed and friendly explanations in Korean, allowing me to focus on my trip with peace of mind. I was surprised by the sheer number of tourists at each Kyoto tourist site, but I was impressed by the tour's well-curated selection of Kyoto's key attractions. We included almost all the places featured on popular Kyoto travel blogs, allowing us to fully enjoy Kyoto in a short amount of time. One of the most memorable moments for me was when my child left his phone on the tour bus, leaving us in a state of confusion. Even after we had finished our trip and returned to Korea, our guide, Haehwa, was attentive and took care of everything, finding it for us. This must have been a difficult task, and I was so grateful for his kind and helpful approach. This experience has further strengthened my trust, and I definitely want to use this tour on my next trip to Japan. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Kyoto.

Teacher Oh Seok-bong!!! Thanks to you, I learned a lot about Japanese culture, and you gave me detailed explanations of things to watch out for, things to know, and even photo spots in a fun way. My first trip to Japan was even more special☺️ I will leave Kyoto with only happy memories. Thank you🙏

When traveling without wanting to plan ahead but still wanting to see the sights, signing up for a day tour is a hassle-free option. Based on Ctrip's reputation for reliable quality, I chose their day tour this time, and it was excellent. Our tour leader, Ms. Jiang, was incredibly helpful, from informing us of the meeting point before departure to providing directions at the end. She patiently explained each attraction, and I learned a great deal from her. A huge thank you to Ms. Jiang for treating us to delicious pudding at her own expense! My trip to Osaka was wonderful, and these memories will stay with me for a long time!
Reviews: Kyoto Kifune Shrine, Arashiyama, and Sanzen-in Temples: A 9-person Small Group Tour to Enjoy the Cool Summer and Autumn Leaves

We signed up the afternoon of the previous day. The tour fee was over 300 yuan for a small group of nine people, which I found to be a great value. The itinerary was well-paced and not rushed. Our driver and guide, Nick Lee, was very approachable and attentive. The car was clean and odorless. Disposing of trash in Japan is a challenge, so we had trash bags on board. It rained that day, so we had transparent umbrellas, which made for beautiful photos. The guides were provided on board, in both Mandarin and English, catering to the needs of the group. At each attraction, Nick would send us a private message with the location and time. Sanzen-in Temple was a pleasant surprise during the trip. It was peaceful and relaxing, and I loved it. The water divination at Kifune Shrine was very interesting, and I got a very auspicious fortune. Overall, I was very satisfied.
Reviews: one-day tour of Kiyomizu Temple in Nara, Kyoto, Japan [9-person small group optional|Hotel pickup|Chinese and English driver guide

The time was too short. We didn't arrive back in Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM) as part of the program, and the driver and guide had already returned to Osaka at 5 PM! It was such a rush. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM and had to board the bus back to Osaka at 3:35 PM. We went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, then to Gion, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (3 hours with meals included). We also visited nearby areas, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple. A half-hour extra would have been perfect.
