Mary reached out the day before via WhatsApp and answered my logistic questions. Overall I’m very happy I joined her tour. She is patient, upbeat, and explained well without being overwhelming. Perhaps I’m out of shape, but this ~5 hours walking tour was intense during the last hour or so. Be sure to wear comfiest shoes and bundled up! Also I’m glad Mary’s notes did mention bringing drinks and snacks with you. The snack shops inside the Forbidden City were too long to wait.★

Sister Shi (our guide) is an exceptionally kind person. She was patient and meticulous throughout the trip, providing informative and engaging explanations of the sights. She proactively checked on everyone's well-being, helped with luggage, recommended authentic local cuisine, and helped us avoid common pitfalls. Traveling with her was incredibly worry-free, and my wonderful trip was all thanks to her!
