Reviews: Lantau Island Tour: Ngong Ping 360, Tian Tan Buddha, Tai O Village & Dolphin Encounter

The day started fine except for one issue another group member had with the tour guide. There were two guides one for English and another for Mandarin. The tour is basically "a hold your finger" take through the various attractions. We were taken from the Metro Station bus stand in a public bus to the first site, the fishing village. We took the small boat for a small spin in the sea, where we could not sight any pink dolphins, but the guide did point out some features along the short cruise. The village is drab. Next we took a public bus to the Big Buddha. The guide pointed out some facts about the features of the tourist place. The temple does offer a set meal at a cost if you choose to eat there. After the meal and a quick view of the Buddha (which was in shadow and very unphotogenic), we took the cable car (good experience) to return to the Metro station, to end the tour. On the whole, this was a very average tour. The male guide should learn to smile a bit more, though. Very Dour!

Chartering a car in Mutianyu is an excellent choice for short trips, offering a worry-free and comfortable experience with service exceeding expectations – a truly exceptional experience! Timely service response: Whether you place an order at the last minute or book late at night, customer service responds instantly. Staff will confirm your itinerary in advance, and the driver will proactively communicate your departure time, eliminating any hassle. Professional and attentive drivers: The drivers drive smoothly and safely, the vehicles are clean, spacious, and there's no hard selling or rushing throughout the trip. The value is incredible; I've already recommended it to friends!
Reviews: Chiang Mai Night Safari Day Tour [Includes Hotel Transfer + Admission Ticket + Attraction Sightseeing Bus]

The driver arrived at the pick-up point an hour early, catching everyone off guard. However, it proved to be a good idea to leave earlier, otherwise, you wouldn't be able to see all the shows. The itinerary within the park was very rushed; I strongly recommend taking a taxi if possible. The journey there took 1 hour and 40 minutes, picking up four groups of people, largely wasting time waiting for others on the road, and then taking a long detour on the highway to reach the zoo. The zoo's schedule is very tight; you have to strictly adhere to the schedule and rush through each show. The Tiger Show was completely unnecessary; the space was too small, and there were too many people. There was only one show at 5 PM. The dance performance was actually the most unique, and the fountain was decent, with added lights and projections. The animal and cowboy shows were rather average, and the staff made several mistakes, though they seemed quite used to it. The most impressive close encounter with the animals was with the giraffe; there weren't many other animal species, and they were really hard to see at night, but the tour bus only allowed one ride per animal. It's best to see the animals when it's light. We departed at 2 PM and returned at 7:40 PM, which was fairly punctual. The order page should have the time information adjusted; customer service didn't provide the time or vehicle license plate number, even though the foreigners in the same vehicle had license plates. It was okay for killing time; watching the animals was quite therapeutic. Chimelong Safari Park is probably better, so the price here is a bit high. The original price was 1200 baht including the tour bus, and it featured both herbivores and carnivores, with many animals being the same species.
