▲ The Shenyang 9.18 Memorial is located at Liutiaohu Bridge in Dadong District, Shenyang, the site of the "September 18th Incident" that shocked China and the world 76 years ago. To commemorate this historical event, a "Broken Calendar Monument" was erected here, which was expanded into the "September 18th" History Museum in 1999. The most striking feature of the museum is the "Broken Calendar Monument." The entire structure stands 18 meters high, 30 meters wide, and 11 meters thick, made of concrete with granite facing, shaped like a three-dimensional desk calendar with symmetrical sides.
