I hadn't brought Taiwanese currency with me while transiting in Taipei, but I suddenly had a change of heart and wanted to explore the city. I was thinking about exchanging dollars, but then I remembered something I'd seen on Trip.com and paid. I immediately received a QR code and was able to exchange it right at the subway entrance.

The round-trip card from Taoyuan International Airport to downtown Taipei and the card for unlimited use of the city's subway are separate. It's a great deal. I lost my city subway card on the way there, but the card for the return trip to the airport was separate, which was very helpful. The pick-up point at the airport is near the subway ticket gate on the B2 floor. I searched for it quite a while, thinking it must be somewhere inside the airport.

This metro ticket is a traveler’s dream—smooth, affordable, and incredibly convenient! The express train zips from Taoyuan Airport to Taipei Main Station in just 35 minutes, with clean cabins, ample luggage space, and free 4G Wi-Fi. ❤️

The car was clean and spacious, and the air conditioning didn't smell moldy. While the driver didn't speak English well, communication was smooth and the staff did their best. With WhatsApp, you can call 10-15 minutes in advance to minimize waiting for the car on the road. (Due to Bali's traffic conditions, cars can't wait on the road forever; someone has to wait for the car, which is inconvenient. The roads are so narrow that cars have to wait behind you while you're parked.) I'm not sure if the driver can use KakaoTalk. He waited nearby for our family from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM. He parked a little further away when parking was required. Instead of buying us food or drinks, he included them in the tip (he sent me a text message thanking me for the tip that morning. He didn't just receive the tip that day, but also expressed his gratitude the next day, which I also appreciated.)
