Reviews: Full-Day Private Stone Town +Spice Farm and Prison Island Tour

Its was very good, tour guys are so nice and funny. we had a tour of the spice farm. we looked at the spice market, tasted teas and coffee... we tasted fruits. at the same time, there is a shop where you can buy spices and creams. Later we went on a tour of the city where we could see the food and fish market.. We learned a lot about the past of the city.. the last was prison island where we saw turtles and peacocks..

I was driven to the farm. I had a most intensive tour of all the spice plants and was dressed up in garlands of palm leaves and hibiscus! The meal and the fresh fruit afterwards was a bit of a high point. We saw a man climb a coconut palm and then we ate fresh coconut and drank coconut water. Everything was good and the guide was happy to let me sit and rest as I needed.

The driver simba and Aboss were great. Simba was our driver on a previous tour to stone town. He’s an excellent driver and DJ. We were entertained on each outing. Aboss was great, they were knowledgeable about each location and took great photos for us

My husband and I really enjoyed this excursion! Our driver was amazing. The tour of Jozani Forest was incredible and our guide was really knowledgeable. You can tell the staff really enjoys their jobs. We don’t spend much time at Kuza Cave, but learning the history behind the cave was very interesting. The steps in the cave were really steep, almost scary. But once in the water it’s so refreshing. My husband was even able to play with the drummers at Kuza Cave. We only stayed at Paje Beach for about ten minutes, but would have loved to see move of it. There were a few interesting restaurants and many vendors selling locally made items. The water was nice and blue too, such a lovely sight. Our last stop was at the Rock Restaurant. There was the option to make reservations days before the excursion to eat at the restaurant or simply enjoy drinks and take in the amazing views. We opted to make a reservation and had two amazing dishes. The price for so much food was ridiculously inexpensive! I highly recommend this excursion, you will not be disappointed.
