I applied for fast-track because I heard the airport arrival line was incredibly long, and it was a godsend. While the regular line usually lasted 40-50 minutes, I waited in less than 10. An employee even escorted me to the immigration counter, so it wasn't too crowded. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City for the first time.★

We were met with a sign at the airport, asked for a signature, and then taken through a separate window at border control. If you don't wait for your luggage, you'll be out of the airport literally 15 minutes after landing. A great time saver, highly recommended.
