Shaun the guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. the trip was fantastic! ran on time and a small group which was good. very well organised and saw plenty. Wai-O-Tapu is a must if you come to NZ. nice early start so still had the afternoon to do other things

We came by car, so we arranged our own transport, which was very convenient for managing our arrival. We arrived quite early, so there weren't many people. We saw fantastic and different landscapes compared to Wai-o-Topu; the two parks complement each other. A very pleasant walk, and we returned by bus.

The staff at reception were absolutely lovely; they even offered us breakfast because they had a problem with their boat. They also gave us great advice on how to visit the site.
