Kechor Elephant Sanctuary
The local Karen community has a long history of caring for elephants and considers them part of the family. We partnered with the local Karen community in Ban Sop Win, Chiang Mai Province to establish Kerchor ECO Elephant Park. We are not just an elephant park, but also an elephant sanctuary that houses both our own elephants and rescued orphaned elephants.
By following our approach, we hope to help travelers understand the close bond between the Karen community and their elephant family members, and spread awareness of how elephants should be properly cared for, loved, and cherished.

Riding is strictly prohibited within the project; elephants must only exhibit natural behaviors.
Most of Ker-Chor's donations and tourism revenue are used for elephant care, including habitat conservation, forage, veterinary care, and rescue costs. The well-being of local communities is also taken into consideration.
