Reviews: Adelaide: Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting

Our Guide BRUCE was fantastic. He was full of interesting facts and information and was very kind, considerate, inclusive and patient which created a great vibe for the group. We got to enjoy Adelaide Cityand surrounds, Mount Lofty including the koala sighting, with plenty of time to enjoy the sights of Hahndorf and the delicious wines at Chapel Hill & Haselgrove with a quick stop at D'Arenberg and then drop off at Glenelg to take in a beautiful sunset.
Reviews: Adelaide: Half-day McLaren Vale & Glenelg Wine Tasting Tour
Guest User2026-02-09
This half day tour of Adelaide McLaren Vale and Glenelg was a gentle introduction to the wines of this region. Craig was our driver and gave a running commentary at various times on the tour, which was very informative. We visited two excellent wineries. There was an option to purchase lunch but as the tour didn't start until 12.30, we had already had lunch. It might seem expensive for a half day tour, but it makes life very easy to relax and enjoy the day when someone else is doing the driving and giving tour advice. We returned via Glenelg and decided to return here another day to explore it fully, rather than ending the day here - another option with this tour. We were returned to our pick up spot.

Such a fun day and driver Yvette was vivacious and made the day more special. We had enough time in each place and loved the locals.
Reviews: Micro-Group McLaren Vale Wine Tour from Adelaide

From the moment Tom picked us up in Adelaide we knew we would have an amazing day. Tom's extremely knowledgeable but isn't a nonstop talker. He quickly discovered what interested us most and provided great information. We toured 4 wineries and were treated to a fabulous lunch. We've done multiple wine tours in NZ and Australia on our trip and this was by far our favorite!
