It was great. Especially because of the excellent performance of the guide Alena KONIAROVÁ. An excellent guide, who expresses herself very well in Spanish, is very willing to show everything to her clients, and explains any doubts with great knowledge. Alena KONIAROVÁ is an excellent tour guide.

A quick and easy tour if you don’t have a lot of time. Takes you from old town and back. Enjoyed the short trip to and from the castle

Well this was a great experience. We travelled from Vienna to Bratislava for this experience. FYI, if you do this, the bus is not part of the tour company but the normal Slovakialines bus between Bratislava and Vienna. Two things to remember is, 1. Do not forget your passport! They will not allow you on the bus. This happened to another passenger. 2. Make sure you have your QR code readily available. Again, they will not allow you on without it. The bus ride is very short, about 1.5 hours. One thing to remember, again very important, is that there are two stops in Bratislava. The first is under a bridge and you should be able to see the Flag Inn Hotel nearby. THIS is the one you want. If you miss this one, you will end up at the second stop (Part of a shopping centre). You will then have to catch a taxi to get to the Flag Inn Hotel. If you read the attached instructions, it says to get off at the second bus stop. NO! Just look for the bus stop under the bridge and you will be ok! What was also not mentioned is that the group actually meets up at the front of the Flag Inn Hotel, so just be aware that is where you may have to meet up. The hotel is just across the road so no problems there. As for the tour itself, it was great. Bratislava is absolutely stunning and full of history. The tour guide we had was great and full of information so 10/10 for her. This brings me to another point to remember. The tour guide is seperate from the company you booked this experience through. Therefore, he/she is more than likely unable to help if you have any major problems with the booking company. Just something to keep in the back of your mind. After the tour, you will end up at a cafe where you have the option of having a cake and coffee or a two course lunch. We had the two course lunch. It consisted of a chicken soup with vegetables as the first course and a local dish, potato dumplings with sheep's cheese sauce. The food was excellent and we loved it. 10/10 for the quality. Another thing to keep in mind is if you don't want to take your time at the cafe, choose the cake and coffee option. If you want a more relaxed experience choose the lunch. They do take a bit of time to serve lunch. We also chose to do the beer tasting at the Beer Factory. This is a a really nice European style pub, lots of character and very comfortable. You get three beers (Pretty decent sized for samples). One was a lager, one a strong beer and one was grapefruit beer. This was very unusual and absolutely delicious. They also give you a freshly baked pretzel which goes down well with the beer. So, in conclusion, this is a really great way to experience another European country. It is definitely different to Austria (In a good way) . We really enjoyed the experience. If you keep in mind the few pointers I mentioned, I am sure you will enjoy the experience too.

We took a wonderful walking tour with Patrick as our guide. Bratislava is beautiful and historic and so much more personal with our new guide friend who went way out of his way to make sure we got everything we needed and wanted done in our limited time.

Our guide, Jarca, was so polite, perky and knowledgeable who shared a ton of Bratislava history. She also recommended a local cantina only locals would know (what to eat and cheap). She gave us an expedited castle tour so that we could eat there before they closed. Lastly, she took our pictures at some great spots. We'd recommend her for this city tour anytime!!
