I purchased a Eurail pass because it is cheaper than buying individual tickets, especially when I have to take long-distance train journeys multiple times. Furthermore, with delays on European trains—particularly long-distance ones—being severe these days, even if you have reserved a seat, you may find yourself having to take different trains along the way. In such situations, the unrestricted Eurail pass has been a great help.

The booking was made just a few days before our trip and it was absolutely fuss free. However, there was a small blip in that their link to the Swiss pass map was not working but the Trip customer service team expeditiously sent over the map via email. Great service recovery!

am happy with the this card. no issue just show the swiss half fare voucher and you get 50% discounts for all transports including cable car and trains mountain cog wheel train. just make sure if you have the copy of this voucher at all time when travelling as this has to be shown to the checker, together with puchased tickets that you buy.
