This was a well organised tour. Claudius was an excellent guide and stayed with us during the tour. We did get free time in each village. Claudius booked us a table at a lovely restaurant for lunch. We had a total of 4 on our tour so the bus was spacious. We only had around 1/2hr at the Leaning Tower of Pisa but that was our choice. If you have trouble walking up/down stairs this probably isn’t the tour for you unless you are happy to only see the bare minimum. Lots of walking. Highly recommend this tour.

Elizabeth, our guide, was the BEST! She was funny, to the point, made sure we knew the hows, the whys and the when’s… gave just enough information to be informative, but not overwhelming. Pointed out the best recommendations and then let us all decide what we wanted to do! Highly recommend!

I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. At the time, there was a promotional discount of about 20%, so I got it for about €100 less. I was very satisfied with the price. I could choose to use 15 days within two months, which was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it.

Guide was great. Day is long but they keep you going so that's great. I can't imagine doing this in high season. The crowds must be crazy. Very glad I did the tour.
