Millions of years ago, it used to be the bottom part of a caldera at the bottom of the sea. There were the manganese mines opened in 1898, the ruins of which can be seen.
Attractions and Activities: Kalogries Beach (Free entry) a protected bay with swallow crystal clear water. It is surrounded by green cliffs making the water appear turquoise, like a natural swimming pool. There you will enjoy swimming, snorkeling and our delicious homemade breakfast! 30 min(s)

It's an apocryphal bay, enclosed by a complex of impressive white volcanic rocks.
