Gulangyu is a must visit when going to Xiamen. Brown, our guide, was fantastic with a lot of knowledge of Xiamen and China. One downside of the tour is that due to the holiday we could not start at the originally scheduled time because ferry tickets were sold out. We were able to complete the majority or the tour given the shorter duration. My advice is to spend more time on the island getting lost in the old town, looking at the incredible architecture as the buildings and history is impressive and interesting.

Unique cultural experience. This group tour was conducted in Chinese and very well organized. Hakka cuisine group lunch was delicious and filling. The tour guide's introduction to the various Tulou and its history was informative and interesting. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

🚠Today's Xiamen day trip really exceeded my expectations! Our guide, Wang Wei, was waiting for us at the meeting point more than half an hour early, and he even sent us his location in case we couldn't find it—so thoughtful! Riding the Bell and Drum Cableway, looking at the view of Xiamen city surrounded by mountains and sea while suspended halfway up the mountain, the scenery was absolutely stunning 🌊 Later, when we went to Xiamen University for lunch, Wang Wei had already arranged our access to the campus, so we didn't waste any time. The entire trip was purely for sightseeing with no shopping stops. He let us stop and take photos at our own pace. It was totally worth the money! I'll definitely hire Guide Wang again next time I come to Xiamen! ✨

Overall, I was very satisfied. There were no extra charges or forced spending. The bus was clean and tidy, the seats were spacious, the driver was skilled, and the group meals were also very unique. In particular, our tour guide, Xiao Liu, was reliable and steady, the itinerary was well-planned and well-paced, he answered all our questions, proactively helped us take photos, pointed out the best photo spots, and was considerate of everyone's feelings—thoughtful and dedicated. The other members of the group were also of high quality, there was no dragging out of time, and the whole trip was relaxed and enjoyable, leaving us with wonderful memories of our trip to Xiamen.

The car was a bit old, but the driver was very kind and made excellent arrangements. It was perfect for elderly people as it saved them from walking too much. Although the attractions weren't particularly special, that's just how Xiamen is!
