This was an amazing guided tour of the forbidden city, Tiananmen Square and the central axis. It was super busy but our guide Icy was super fast and efficient and knew how to get us through the queues and crowds. A very informative morning and I’m so glad I did it!★

The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).★

It was an amazing experience overall. The guide Susan was amazing . She made sure the whole group met in the location to start the tour. She is quite passionate and knowledgeable. She took good care of the group and her English is quite good. As a group we felt like a family . It was great meeting different people . The tour was quite insightful and makes one just awe at the Chinese culture and history. Definitely worth it! Oh and I booked the trip same day which was a plus on short notice 🥰★

The tour with our guide Linda has been fantastic. She was overflowing with energy and her stories about the Forbidden City were incredible. She made sure that we felt okay and that we were understanding everything at all times. Then came the great wall visit, where se took care of all the transportation, then told us stories on the bus microphone while getting there. She let us fully enjoy the visit and suggested different routes based on how we were feeling and our level of fitness. I normally don’t book tours with guides, but Linda truly allowed us to live an amazing experience.★

Our experience visiting Prince Gong's Mansion with Ms. Zeng was absolutely fantastic! She possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of this mansion, which represents "half of Qing Dynasty history." From the construction wisdom during Heshen's reign and Prince Gong Yixin's political career, to the architectural regulations, garden aesthetics, and even the stories behind every plaque and couplet, her explanations were both insightful and captivating. She led us through the exquisite Western-style gates, the Bat Pond, the "Fu" (福, meaning good fortune) stele, and the Grand Theater, skillfully connecting historical figures with the stories behind the spaces, instantly bringing the cold, ancient architecture to life. Ms. Zeng was erudite and engaging, patiently answering all our questions and sharing many interesting historical details. This visit not only allowed us to appreciate the grandeur and beauty of the mansion but also provided a deeper understanding of Qing Dynasty princely mansion culture and historical changes. It was a truly valuable historical and cultural journey, combining both educational value and entertainment, and I highly recommend it!★

Suggestion: Three hours is a bit short for the Forbidden City; it's vast. Could the time be extended to cover more areas?
