1. This product is provided by an overseas partner and booked through our store. Due to real-time updates of product information and market price fluctuations, the details may differ from what was displayed at the time of your booking. Itinerary arrangements, cost descriptions, cancellation policies, and other terms will be deemed as read, understood, and accepted upon successful payment. Once the booking is confirmed, no cancellation or modification requests will be accepted within 48 hours before departure. Please be advised.
2. Please arrive at the meeting point/pick-up point at least 15 minutes in advance. It's better to be early than late. If the guide/driver hasn't arrived yet, please wait patiently. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed seating or eligible for changes/refunds. Thank you for your understanding.
3. The product itinerary description is for reference only. Details such as departure time, duration, sightseeing, and attraction photos are all subject to change. The driver/guide may adjust specific tour arrangements based on actual conditions for the safety and convenience of all travelers. Please show understanding and cooperation. Our store does not accept claims based on discrepancies between the actual experience and the product description or images.
4. Weather can be unpredictable during the ski season. In cases of force majeure, natural events, disasters, or unscheduled changes by train, bus, or ship transport companies for safety reasons, alternative itinerary options will be provided to travelers already en route, such as visiting mountain villages at lower elevations instead.
5. Additional notes for early departure: (1) The guide is only responsible for accompanying guests according to the standard itinerary and will not be responsible for guests who leave the group early. (2) Guests who leave the group early must bear all risks (including but not limited to getting lost, delays and expenses during transfers, encountering unexpected situations, etc.). No refund will be provided for early departure. (3) The duration mentioned is the guide's arrangement under normal circumstances, for reference only. It may change on the actual day, so please follow the arrangements made on that day.
7. Group size: Approximately 70 people for double-decker buses and around 45 for single-decker buses. Typically, the buses are not full, and vehicles are divided based on language (Chinese-English or Spanish-English). Visitors heading to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe usually number between a dozen to several dozen per bus. Every visitor is guaranteed a seat on both the cable car and train. Chinese-English groups generally have two guides.
8. Please note: From November to December 19, the return route follows the departure route. The return bus departs from Grindelwald back to the starting point and does not go to Lauterbrunnen.
9. Fee Description
Includes: Transportation to Grindelwald (bus), taking the Eiger Express cable car from Grindelwald to Eigergletscher station, transferring to the cogwheel train at Eigergletscher station to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, descending by cogwheel train back to Lauterbrunnen, return transportation to the point of departure (bus), Alpine Sensation exhibition, Sphinx Observatory, Ice Plateau, and Ice Palace (weather permitting), guide.
Excludes: meals, beverages, personal expenses, and any other items not mentioned.
Itinerary
Classic 1-day tour to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, showcasing the majestic vastness of the continent's rooftop. Located in the Swiss Alps, Jungfraujoch boasts Europe's highest-altitude railway station (3,500m above sea level). Enjoy panoramic views of the Aletsch Glacier from Europe's highest train station. The journey traverses the Bernese Oberland region, with a brief stop in Interlaken, nestled between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. Continue to Grindelwald village, where you'll board the Eiger cable car to Eiger Glacier Station. Transfer to a cogwheel train via Kleine Scheidegg to reach Jungfraujoch. Along the route, marvel at the spectacular trio of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. The north face of Eiger appears within arm's reach, while breathtaking glaciers create a fairy-tale landscape. At Jungfraujoch Station, visit the Alpine Sensation exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Jungfrau Railway, and admire sweeping mountain vistas (including the Aletsch Glacier) from the Sphinx Observatory. Experience walking through the Ice Palace inside the glacier. Multiple restaurants offer diverse dining options on the mountain. For the return trip, take the cogwheel train downhill, passing through the resort town of Wengen. The tour bus awaits in Lauterbrunnen for the journey back (from November to December 19, the return is from Grindelwald to the starting point, bypassing Lauterbrunnen).
