Reviews: Island entrance fee included! Phuket Similan Islands Day Trip (Self-operated Lightning/Dreamer cruise with optional snorkeling excursion)

Extremely satisfied! I've taken sailboats, speedboats, and yachts for island hopping tours before, but for long-distance trips like the Similan Islands, you absolutely need a comfortable, large yacht to avoid seasickness. Especially on the return trip, they kept providing ice cream, fruit, snacks, cola, and mineral water; we ate and ate until we reached shore without any seasickness. The bilingual (Chinese and English) tour guide made communication easy, and the time arrangement was reasonable.

We went on this excursion yesterday. We really enjoyed it. We were picked up from the hotel on time, taken to the pier, given breakfast, explained everything, and boarded the boat. Then it was an hour and a half by sea to the first stop where we went ashore. Then we went snorkeling near other islands. Then lunch and free time on island number 4. Then the return trip to the pier, where we had dinner and a transfer to the hotel. The Russian-speaking guide, Nikita, was a pleasant young man. The groups were made up of people speaking different languages, but everything was clear and accessible. We really enjoyed the excursion!
Reviews: Similan Islands: Island hopping and snorkeling day tour

A very satisfying trip. From the moment we placed the order, the staff immediately created a WeChat group and replied promptly, no matter how late or what time it was, until the end of the trip. The Similan Islands are far away, and a bad boat can be very uncomfortable, but this boat was small with spacious seating, and everyone received excellent care. Food: Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea were provided on board, and there was a buffet dinner upon arrival at the port. The food on board was very good. Lunch included unlimited salmon, very sweet mango sticky rice, and we were even left with noodles! Transportation: They provided pick-up and drop-off services, which was especially convenient since our departure and return points were not at the same hotel. They communicated with the travel agency and made a note for us. Activities: We visited two islands, Island 4 and Island 8. Our boat went to Island 4 separately. Because it was a double-decker boat, we stopped at the famous swing area on the back of the island, so we didn't have to wait for a swing and there was no one around, haha. We had enough time to explore each island. We went snorkeling once on each island. Other: Water and drinks are free on board. Beach socks and towels are provided upon boarding, and mouthpieces are also provided, so you don't need to buy your own. The crew helps take photos on the boat, and they turn out quite nice; their skills are excellent. They even helped me dive down and photograph a clownfish while snorkeling—it was beautiful! The tour guide also thoughtfully took photos for everyone on Island 8, which was very considerate. Overall, I was very satisfied with this trip. Thank you! 🙏
Reviews: Phuket Adventure one-day tour: Phang Nga Bay National Park ,007 Island,Phang Nga Bay Kayaking

This trip was incredibly worthwhile and comfortable! We were picked up in the morning and taken to the meeting point. It's worth mentioning that there were only seven Chinese people in the entire group, but everyone was so friendly. The guide was Thai and spoke Chinese, and he explained everything in Chinese every time, and his Chinese was excellent! It was a truly immersive boat trip. You could even swim, and the self-service clothing was superb. Drinks, iced water, and coffee were always available. The boat meals were also delicious and unlimited: rice, noodles, chicken, and fish. In the cave, the Thai boatman showed us the bats in the sky and occasionally let us lie down while we passed. It was incredibly safe and immersive! The 007 island was also incredibly photogenic, and we had absolutely no time. At the end, we even had time to swim and play in the water. We didn't have to focus on walking or sightseeing. We were on a boat trip, just enjoying the water and enjoying Phuket. Everyone's safety was ensured. The Thai-Chinese director was truly responsible and shared his health and longevity lifestyle with us, making the experience much more enjoyable than other tours.
Reviews: Departing from Phuket: Phang Nga Bay Whitewater Rafting Day Tour|Optional Jungle ATV/Elephant Riding Experience
Guest User2026-02-12
I had the best time doing the 9km rafting (best distance to pick), elephant riding and Atv. The staffs were amazing and our tour leader Anna was exceptional and helpful. Despite the distance it took to get to venue, it was worth it. Oh! and they also provided lunch.
Reviews: Lunar New Year rush! Similan Islands 1-day tour - optional Alita yacht / LILA boat

I was going to give it a perfect score; this four stars are for the service provider who sold us our tickets on Ctrip—because they were really unreliable. They said they'd arrive at 5:35 or something, and the email said if we were late, the driver would wait a maximum of five minutes (we're not usually late). We started waiting 5-10 minutes after the agreed time, and then they didn't show up. We were really worried they'd forgotten to pick us up. Reasons: 1. We couldn't contact the service provider; 2. We didn't add them on WeChat, and the emergency number they gave us was invalid—we were using a Thai SIM card! Our hotel reception also called us, and they said being 15 minutes late was normal (why didn't the service provider say that earlier?); 3. Because it was so early, no one on Ctrip seemed to care about us. It was ridiculous; we were just worried no one would pick us up, and we couldn't go by ourselves—it's too far. I will never use this service provider again. Avoid them! We also bought tickets for the Sky Mirror cruise to Phi Phi Island and the Alita cruise to the Similan Islands; but the Sky Mirror cruise was absolutely terrible. Number of passengers: Alita: 30; Sky Mirror: 70 Service: Due to the large number of passengers, service was somewhat limited; in the Similan Islands, seating was arranged before boarding, and meals and towels were provided after snorkeling; towels were provided before boarding, and essential oil was offered if you felt unwell—the service was extremely attentive. Seat comfort: All seats were soft, but Alita's were more comfortable and less swaying. Although Alita's boat is smaller, it really doesn't sway! Restaurants: The women's restroom on Sky Mirror was broken; it was difficult to close, and once closed, it couldn't be opened. Being trapped inside for 5 minutes and having no one hear you when calling for help was a bit scary. Food: Sky Mirror's food is buffet style, requiring queuing; Alita's food is served individually, placed at your seat. Food: Alita mainly serves Western cuisine; the Sky Mirror mainly offers set meals. To be honest, the Tom Yum soup, combined with the rocking of the boat, made me crave... Preparation: Flip-flops are not allowed, but the boat is definitely slippery. Alita provides beach socks, but the Sky Mirror doesn't; I saw several people almost slip and fall. Tipping: The Sky Mirror asks for 50 baht per person; we were dissatisfied with the service (because there was practically no service at all); Alita asks for 100 baht per person, but we gave 200 baht per person because they were really thoughtful. They checked life jackets for everyone who couldn't swim, took everyone snorkeling, proactively took photos with a DJI Action camera, and even went underwater to take pictures for you! Regarding the islands: Phi Phi Island was extremely crowded. The only time I visited, there was a long queue. The island itself was tiny and uninteresting, and the toilets smelled terrible, probably due to the large number of people. Similan Islands were much less crowded, though still not packed. Once on the island, you can choose to explore or swim at the beach. Overall: Not worth the price, especially for those who have been on Alita: Cruises.
