Day 1 Munich - Magic Forest - Konigssee - Munich

Itinerary Overview

8:00 AM Meet at Munich train station before heading to the Magic Forest.

10:30 Pass through the town of Ramsau on the way to Hintersee, one of the three lakes of Konigssee. Serene and misty, it resembles a fairyland. Nearby is the Magic Forest, where you can get off and hike for about 30 minutes to experience the charm of Berchtesgaden National Park.

12:00 PM Lunch

Arrive at Konigssee at 1:00 PM, queue to board the cruise. Konigssee is a long, beautiful lake formed by glacial erosion, resembling the fjords of Northern Europe with its crystal-clear waters, which it is famous for. The cruise makes a stop at St. Bartholomew's Chapel, a lakeside church often referred to as the Red-Domed Church and a landmark of Konigssee.

If the cruise is not operating in winter, you can opt for the paid cable car ride up Jennerbahn (1,874m above sea level). The summit offers excellent views of Konigssee and the entire Berchtesgaden region.

4:00 PM return to Munich.

6:00 PM Arrive in Munich, itinerary ends.

If your Konigssee boat ticket is for the morning, start with a leisurely and peaceful cruise on Konigssee. After lunch, head to Hintersee and the Magic Forest.

1. Urgent orders accepted with no hidden fees and no reconfirmation needed. The Konigssee cruise may be canceled due to force majeure such as severe weather.

2. Konigssee boat service will be suspended on Dec 24. For this tour date, the itinerary will be changed to taking the cable car up Jenner Mountain to overlook Konigssee. If you wish to book this tour date, please contact customer support to change the admission ticket type and price.

• (1) Lunch and dinner: Guests can choose to join the group meal or select local cuisine on their own.
• (2) Each guest is required to give the driver-guide a minimum of €4 in gratuities per day.
• (3) The driver's normal working hours are 10 hours. The overtime fee is €50/hour (to be shared equally among tour participants). Please settle the payment with the driver voluntarily. According to European passenger transport operation regulations, working hours cannot exceed 12 hours. Thank you for your cooperation.
