We departed at 5:50 AM, even more punctual than expected. The entire trip was completely free of shopping stops, making for a very comfortable experience. Our guide, Mr. Yuan, truly lives up to his reputation as an expert on Leshan and Emei. Despite the weekend and summer vacation coinciding, we arrived back in Chengdu around 9 PM, allowing for an early rest – a pleasant surprise! Besides planning the itinerary, Mr. Yuan also provided various photo spots and posing tips. Thanks to him, I was able to capture some precious photos during this solo trip. It was a perfect trip; we successfully took the boat, the weather on Emei Mountain was fantastic, and we even encountered monkeys – so much fun!

The driver confirmed the pick-up time and location before 9 PM the night before and arrived at the hotel early the next day to wait for us, showing great patience. Whether at the Panda Base or Leshan, he clearly communicated our approximate return time to the tour guide, and was always on time near the visitor center after each visit. Even though one of our companions can't eat spicy food, he told us which dishes were suitable to order in Leshan. The driving was also very smooth. Many thanks to driver Jiang Wensong for his care throughout the trip and to the tour guide for his professional explanations! We had a wonderful trip!

My friend and I were staying in Chengdu and wanted to take a day trip to see the Leshan Giant Buddha; we were so happy we booked this trip! We were picked up early right at our hotel (by early I mean 5:30). We then took a large comfortable charter bus about 2 hours to the site. We opted for the boat tour to see the entire carving and then hiked around the caves for the rest of the time - I highly recommend that route. You see the Buddha and several other large statues inside the cave (where the temperature is manageable). I could have gone without the ancient town, it felt like a tourist trap. Otherwise, the guide was lovely, the place we stopped for lunch was incredible, and I would happily recommend this tour.

This was a great day! The giant Buddha is very impressive and there was a great display at the ticket hall with a lot of information. We were taken to the best place in Leshan for lunch. The driver who took us everywhere was really friendly and helpful.
