Reviews: A day trip to Kumamoto Castle, Mount Aso, Kusasenri, and the Minami-Aso Railway in Kyushu, Japan.

This day trip to Kumamoto Castle, Mount Aso, and Kusanagi was fantastic—a definite five-star experience! Special thanks to our guide, Sun Nan, whose detailed explanations were spot-on. He clearly explained Kumamoto's history and the unique landscape of Mount Aso. His service was warm and attentive, and he managed the time perfectly, maintaining a good pace without rushing or wasting time. He also thoughtfully reminded us of important points to note. The entire experience was excellent. Further praise goes to our driver, whose skillful driving on mountain roads ensured a smooth and safe journey. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and he cooperated fully with the itinerary—a very reliable driver. The entire route was well-planned, allowing us to visit multiple attractions in one day. It was a fulfilling and enjoyable trip. The overall service was excellent, and I highly recommend it!

Our tour guide, Ms. Zhuo, was incredibly genuine, with a wonderful personality and a straightforward nature. Unlike other tour guides who are often driven by self-interest, she genuinely shared the best local food and attractions with us. The entire trip was very relaxing and perfectly planned, making for a smooth day. We avoided traffic jams and didn't waste any time. It was the luckiest trip of our entire trip, and I'd love to see her again! The driver was also a wonderful presence, providing enthusiastic and engaging explanations that were especially entertaining.

Reviews: Japan Kyushu Miyazaki autumn leaves viewing Takachiho · Kumamoto Mount Aso · Kusasenri 1-day tour · Fukuoka round-trip

A wonderful travel experience, especially with our guide Aiko-san, who was incredibly attentive and considerate. She led the group well and explained the stories behind each attraction, making the whole trip exceptionally relaxing and enjoyable. As someone who frequently travels abroad, I really appreciated this kind of day trip experience. It solved both transportation issues and allowed for a well-planned itinerary, eliminating the need for painstaking research and planning.

Reviews: 1-day tour to Kyushu Wildlife Park African Safari in Oita, Japan: Anime fairy tale town · Animal interaction journey

Excellent value for money, though the itinerary was a bit rushed. The zoo safari is all about taking photos, but unfortunately the bus windows were a bit dirty, so I couldn't get good pictures (Picture 1). You need to move to the driver's seat to take better photos (Picture 2 onwards). After the safari, we had some time to see other animals, all of which were very interesting. The tour bus couldn't stop at Mount Yufu, and there was a bit of fog, so I didn't take any photos, but it wasn't anything particularly special anyway. Beppu Umi Jigoku (Hell on the Sea) was quite interesting, and they even offer free foot baths, so remember to bring towels and tissues. Yufuin Street is very long, but it's not particularly special, and there's not enough time to walk the whole street; it seems like staying overnight at a hot spring hotel would be better. The tour guide's commentary along the way was a bit lacking in substance, but it was acceptable for the price. It turned out to be bilingual, but the English was quite poor, thankfully I could understand Chinese.
