Reviews: From Belgrade: Full-Day Subotica and Palic Tour with Winery Tasting
Guest User2026-06-04
Impressions from a tour of Subotica I recently had the pleasure of taking a fascinating tour of Subotica, and I'm eager to share my impressions. The first thing that struck me was the city's unique architecture. Austro-Hungarian style intertwines with modernist elements, creating a unique look. Our guide, Stefan, picked us up from our hotel in Belgrade on time, and we were there in two hours. The city turned out to be very green and cozy. The city park, with its picturesque alleys and fountains, was a great place to relax after a busy tour. I was delighted to find numerous cafes serving traditional Serbian cuisine, where I could sample authentic dishes. I'd also like to highlight the city's convenient location – its proximity to the Hungarian border adds a special flair and opens up opportunities for combined tours. I recommend this tour to anyone interested in European architecture and wanting to explore this unusual Serbian city. We also visited a private winery.

Reviews: Northern Serbia: Sremski Karlovci and Novi Sad Full-Day Tour from Belgrade

A wonderful itinerary, everything was thought out. My compliments to the guide Jelica, she answered all our questions and kept in touch with everyone. Importantly, she stayed with the group throughout the entire tour, constantly checking to make sure no one was lagging behind. I recommend her 👌 The tour is in English, but the guide speaks clearly and slowly, so even those with limited English can understand the gist.
