▲ The Muriwai Gannet Colony is approximately 45 km from the city center, with a 40-minute drive, and no admission ticket is required. The island consists of two massive sea-facing reefs and was named one of the world's 30 most stunning landscapes by National Geographic. From October to March each year, around 1,200 pairs of gannets nest and breed here, with nests spaced just a few centimeters apart. The white birds cover the cliffs, soaring with a wingspan of 2 meters and diving with loud calls, creating a spectacular sight.

▲ Mount Eden is located about 5 km south of Auckland's city center, standing at 196 meters above sea level as a volcanic cone offering panoramic views of Auckland. A 15-30 minute walk along the trail leads to the summit, where you'll find a 50-meter-deep crater resembling an inverted green bowl. From here, you can enjoy 360° views of the city, Sky Tower, and harbor. This attraction is open all day with free admission.

▲ Auckland's Sky Tower stands at 328 meters, making it the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere and a landmark of Auckland. The tower features three fully transparent elevators that reach the 220-meter main observation deck in just 40 seconds, offering a 360° panoramic view of the harbor, volcanoes, and city. The 56th floor houses the revolving Orbit restaurant, while the 60th floor features the open-air Sky Deck. Adventurers can experience the SkyWalk high-altitude walkway or the 192-meter SkyJump bungee on the outer ring. The tower is designed to withstand winds of up to 210 km/h and magnitude 8 earthquakes, remaining open year-round. Watching the sunset and city lights from the tower at dusk is a popular tourist activity.
