We took the tour from Te Anau. We stopped at many places on the way to Milford Sound, allowing us to take photos. You can buy lunch on the Milford Sound cruise, or bring your own. We were grateful for the free coffee, tea, and water. We were able to see many incredibly high cliffs and really get a feel for the sheer scale of the place.★

Road trip was excellent but the food available on the boat trip was very poor quality I had a beef focaccia sandwich The bread was cold wet and not fresh On a long day better quality food should be available on the cruise★

Highly recommended. It has a special charm. You first take a small boat across the lake, before embarking on an approximately one-hour circular walk. The play of colors, the geysers, and the mud pools are impressive. Back at the lake, you can relax with a drink at the small café on the shore and even buy a mud face mask for those who stayed behind.★

The climbing tour was absolutely fantastic. We were lucky enough to be the only ones climbing in our small group. This meant we had a lot of fun and were able to move a bit faster than normal groups.
