A thoroughly enjoyable half day tour! We were picked up direct from our hotel (as were all the others on the tour) and we visited the Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House, Mutrah Souk, the Bait Al Zubair museum and the Royal Palace. Our guide, Jamal was excellent, giving the group a really well informed narrative throughout. He was able to answer all our questions and was really friendly and sensibly amusing. A really great way to see some amazing parts of Muscat.

Ali is a fantastic guide who speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable about Muscat, Omani history, and culture. It was a truly valuable experience. I think I saw more in half a day than most people do in two. This tour is highly recommended.

We had a very good taxi tour today and I would recommend to others. The places to visit are spread out across Muscat so a car is essential. The benefit of this type of tour is that you can spend as long or as little at each place to suit you. The Grand Mosque was particularly impressive. Our driver gave us information about each visit and added in more places to see as there were some closures due to Eid.
