Everything about this tour was impressive and our guide had expert knowledge of all places we visited. I really enjoyed the Buddhist Temple, Lunch, Sake tasting and a magical walk through the forest to see the monkeys. I guess I enjoyed everything, yep.â

Our guide spoke excellent English and was able to answer all our questions. He kept an eye out for the monkeys the whole time, and lunch was great too! ðð»â

This was a wonderful private day tour for our party of 4, with our guide, Fumiko, who met us in the hotel lobby in Nagano and helped us obtain our train tickets to Matsumoto.
Fumiko gave us a wonderful tour of Matsumoto City, including Frog Street, and Matsumoto Castle, and arranged for an outstanding lunch at the Kobayashi Soba Restaurant, who went out of their way of look after special dietary requirements of one of our party.
We thoroughly enjoyed the day and spending time with Fumiko in Matsumoto.â

We had a wonderful relaxing afternoon spent with our guide Matsu. He was very courteous and provided us with lots of information about the area and the sites we were seeing. He also saved us over an hour waiting in line time by purchasing tokens that allowed us to walk right in to Matsumoto Castle. We tasted sake made on site by a family that has been making it there for 300 years using the spring water that comes out right at their front door. We also walked down Frog Street and a food vendors street. In addition we visited a 500 year old former Samurai house and a Shinto shrine with a temple. Highly recommend this tour. î¥
