Because there is no light in the castle, you have to carry Aladdin's magic lamp to visit, so you have to hurry out before the candle burns out. The staff at the ticket office can speak English. This is a medieval military town, and there are still many medieval castles and ancient buildings left in the jungle. The ancient city of Cesis is very small, and you can walk around it. After the visit, wait for the long-distance bus back to Riga. Except in scenic spots, you will hardly meet anyone who can speak English.
