Located in the Algarve region of Portugal, Sagres Fortress is a military fortress built in the 15th century by Prince Henry (Infante Dom Henrique), situated at the southern tip of the Sagres Peninsula, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The fortress was built to protect the port of Sagres and to support Portugal's maritime explorations. Prince Henry lived here and passed away in 1460. is one of the charming beaches in Lagos, in the Algarve region of Portugal, famous for its golden sand, clear turquoise water, and spectacular rock views. To reach this hidden cove, visitors need to wind their way down wooden stairs, enjoying panoramic views of the magnificent coastline along the way. The beach is surrounded by towering orange-red limestone cliffs that form a natural barrier, keeping the water calm and clear, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. At high tide, the beach area shrinks, but visitors can still access the beach area on the other side through a hand-dug tunnel to explore more hidden corners. Beach facilities are limited, with only one restaurant located on the cliff, O Camilo, which offers fresh seafood and spectacular sea views. In addition, there is a wooden boardwalk near the beach leading to the Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse, where you can enjoy spectacular rock arches and sea caves along the way, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts. Whether you are looking for a quiet winter stroll or a summer sunbath, this is an ideal place to explore the natural beauty of the Algarve.Lagos · 14.4km from Budens

This is a famous beach in Largs, known as Anna Beach. There are many reefs protruding from the sea on the beach, like stone pillars inserted above the sea, which feels a bit like the Twelve Apostles in Melbourne. The scenery is really beautiful and worth visiting and taking pictures.

Praia do Camilo is a place with many tourists among the sea caves in Lagos Beach. It is particularly beautiful, with clear water and green in the blue. The rocks on the beach are washed into various shapes by the sea water. It’s a pity that there is no boat to go on the sea for fun.
