"We stayed two nights The hotel location is good, at the city center, it is walking distance to Basmane Otogar (both metro and train) and local bus stop. There are a lot of restaurants and grocery shops. The room is new, spacious and clean. The bathroom is modern whereby its fittings are good and convenient. The front desk staff is helpful to advise transport information."

"The hotel is quite new, and the bed is very comfortable. It offers excellent value for money. The room was clean, and the staff were very good and welcoming. Breakfast was also good, served on the -1 floor. The sauna is on the -2 floor. If you need parking, please park your car at the hotel entrance and go to the front desk; someone will help you park. When you need your car, please inform the front desk. The sauna isn't always open, so if you want to use it, please notify the front desk in advance so they can prepare it for you. It's a short drive to the beach from here, and there are restaurants nearby."

"This is our fourth stay at this hotel, and it's still really great. I like it. I thought the coffee capsules would be provided for free again, but they're still not, which I find unacceptable for a five-star hotel. Since we’ve always parked in the parking garage for the past three years, we’ve never paid any fees. This time, we had to pay fees because we didn’t register our license plate at the front desk. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed about this either. We then asked them to arrange for a refund. We’re still waiting for a response!! The service was better in previous years."

"Overall a beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, breakfast is great and the daily housekeeping service is very good. There was one gentleman who was really very nice and helped us figure out the bus to the airport. He even drove us to the bus stop to show us where it was. It was just a few minutes away but really nice of him. Some cons and things to take note of: 1. Most staff DO NOT speak English. They use google translate which is effective for the most part, but tough if you need to have a discussion. 2. The hotel page mentions airport drop of free. The hotel claims it’s not included and impossible to have a discussion so couldn’t do much. Not sure if this is a trip.com issue or a hotel issue. 3. Breakfast really is very good. But it’s a fixed Turkish breakfast so if you have dietaries this may be tough. The staff would casually ask “tea,coffee, juice?” as though it was all included and then when we were checking out we get a bill of £40 for a few coffees. Seems only the tea was included. When we told them no one informed us if it was chargeable, all they did was offer us 2 coffees in the morning to compensate. Really not okay. 4. LOUD MUSIC. There is music playing loudly till 1am. The first 2 nights it was a bit quieter and shut off by 12. But the last night it went on till 1am. When we complained around 12 they said oh this is normal but now since some guests have complained we’ll reduce the volume. Really didn’t make much of a difference. Last night there, completely spoilt the lovely few days we had there."

"Had a wonderful stay at the Marriott in July 202! 😊 The room was good, and the staff was VERY attentive. The rooftop pool is a very pleasant place to spend time – not too many people. The location is wonderful, right on the promenade, which is convenient for walks. The promenade is bustling 24/7, with fishermen catching fish 😁. I really liked the pool in the spa, the water was super nice 😍. For breakfast, there was a good selection from the menu – various egg dishes and pancakes. All in all, the Marriott, as always, did not disappoint!"

"Excellent hotel right in the heart of Izmir. A significant feature of this hotel is its private grounds, which is quite rare for a city hotel. The rooms are large and spacious, with all amenities, and even include a bathtub in addition to the shower cabin. Breakfasts are delicious and varied, and there's also a large, warm swimming pool. On the downside, prices at the hotel's bars and restaurants are quite high (even for a 5-star category), and they charge a €100 per day deposit upon check-in (something to be aware of). If you pay the deposit in cash, the unused portion is returned. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this hotel; everything is excellent and high-quality."
