"As an experienced traveler, I am shocked that this is rated as a 4-star hotel. While the breakfast was good, the housekeeping staff were lovely, and the male bellboy who helped with my luggage provided great service, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The front desk staff were incredibly indifferent; at check-in, they just handed back my passport without saying a single word of welcome or thank you. Furthermore, the room was in poor condition with broken shelves, a faulty toilet, cold shower water, and the power tripped every single minute, making the overall service and maintenance unacceptable for a hotel of this class."

"A good hotel, conveniently located. From the airport, you can take a bus to Sultanahmet and walk a short distance, and the same goes for the return trip from the same stop. All the main attractions are within walking distance, and the T1 tram line has a very convenient route. Near the hotel, there are many shops, cafes, and currency exchange offices with good rates.
The staff were all friendly. Unfortunately, our English isn't great, but they patiently explained everything to us. The room was small but cozy, clean, and had all the amenities. The breakfasts were delicious and satisfying.
Overall, this was our first trip to Istanbul, and we spent a long time choosing a hotel. In the end, everything went great, and we were very happy with our stay. I hope we can come back again!"

Our fan coil system operates on a seasonal basis, meaning it performs only one function at a time — heating during the winter months or cooling during the summer. This system is designed to provide an optimal environment for the majority of our guests.
"The hotel left me with mixed feelings. On its own, it's genuinely good: spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, daily housekeeping, no issues with shower water, and stable Wi-Fi throughout the property. The staff is very polite and responsive, and there are Russian-speaking employees. When we asked to change rooms, it was done quickly and without any hassle.
However, there's one huge drawback that ruined the entire stay. For the first three nights, we stayed in room 1001 on the first floor. Directly beneath the windows is the 'Gagarin' bar, where music and noise continue practically until five in the morning. It was impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. Furthermore, due to its proximity to the reception, everything happening in the corridor was perfectly audible. In the room itself, the toilet was also slightly leaking.
After moving to a different building, it became noticeably quieter, but complete silence was still elusive. For those who come for an active vacation and just want a good night's sleep in the evening, this could be a serious problem.
The breakfasts are quite decent, but without much variety – a solid 4 out of 5 in my opinion.
Overall, I'd rate the hotel a 4 out of 5. It has an excellent location, good rooms, and wonderful staff. But I personally won't return for one reason only: I couldn't get a decent night's sleep here. It's a real shame, because in all other respects, the hotel truly deserves a high rating.
The photos only show the bed from the first room, it's definitely half a meter high, very tall and comfortable 😅 and everything else is from the other building, right next to the descent to the dining hall, where all the cooking was perfectly audible from around 6 AM :("

"Staff are great, and everything about the hotel itself is also great. But I personally don’t like the location and the whole area around because especially as a woman traveling alone fatih and sultanahmet area is not the best choice. There are tourist traps and in some areas people looking at you like a target, I heard some people also get stabbed in fatih."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The location was perfect and everything was well organized.
A special thanks to the hotel managers and staff — they were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Their hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable.
The service was excellent from check-in to check-out. I truly felt welcomed and cared for during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and I would happily stay here again in the future."

"I felt as i am at home.. reception staff are so excellent. Mr. Mahmoud and Mr. Mohamed (all the other people too), also the girl (sorry forgot the name) are sooooo cooperative and amazing staff. I just have 2 remarks:
1. There should be a menue for the breakfast to select from as it will be much easier.
2. Hangers in cupboards are so high and there is a shelf under it so it was diffuiclt for my wife to hange cloths especially her long cloths (it wrinkles the cloths)
3. Next time i will go swiming in the swiming pool..
Again, it was very nice and comfortable to stay and difintely will come back and i will be a proud member.

"This hotel left us with nothing but positive impressions. The cleaning was daily and very thorough, not just superficial. The room itself was small but cozy. The air conditioning, hairdryer, and TV all worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a rain shower. Breakfast was served from 7 to 10 AM in the restaurant on the top floor, which offered a great view and an enclosed terrace. The food was buffet-style with a decent selection. The staff was polite and friendly. My only suggestion would be to add an iron to the rooms. Otherwise, this definitely deserves a solid 4 stars. Thank you!"

Guest UserGood day. We stayed at this hotel from July 9th to 12th. We were able to check in an hour earlier than the stated check-in time. The location is excellent; all attractions are within walking distance or a short tram ride away. There's a tram and metro stop nearby, and the Galata Tower is just a three-minute walk. The rooms are clean, cozy, and beautiful. Housekeeping is daily, and the staff are responsive and friendly. The rooms are quiet. Breakfasts are decent, buffet style. I especially want to mention the hotel's Russian-speaking representative (unfortunately, I can't remember her name, she's the only one). She is polite, sincere, and competent with tourists, resolving any issues. Every day, she requests feedback from guests about their stay: if everything is satisfactory, if they have any questions, etc. I definitely recommend this hotel; it's great value for money.

Guest UserGreat location (though we constantly got lost in those little streets). The breakfasts were decent, we didn't get tired of them over 5 days. The view was absolutely beautiful. Eating with such a view every day boosts your mood by 100%. We didn't use the pool, but we did visit the sauna – a nice little bonus. As for downsides: it was noisy. I don't know about other rooms, but our window overlooked a shopping street, and we could hear conversations and vendors setting up from early in the morning. The staff were lovely and friendly. Our room was fully equipped, and everything worked.

Anonymous UserThe room was nice, but there's a mosque nearby, so it got a bit noisy in the mornings. The breakfast was really bad, but the hygiene and environment were decent. The main issue was that many of the staff didn't speak English, which made communication difficult.

Guest UserIstanbul's Old City gem! This hotel truly hits the spot!
**Amenities:** The hotel is very new and modern. Although the room is small, it has everything you need, and even a small balcony with a great view. There's also a resident cat NPC always by the entrance!
**Cleanliness:** The room is very clean, and the bedding is excellent.
**Service:** The front desk staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. When our taxi stopped at the metro station at the intersection, someone immediately came out to help us with our luggage. Yigi THAN, one of the staff members, checked us in, showed us the room's facilities, and even saw us off to our car when we left, all without expecting a tip.
Right next to the hotel is the Governor's Office, guarded by armed bodyguards, so safety is absolutely top-notch! The surrounding area has plenty of businesses, and it's within walking distance to all the major attractions and the seaside. Plus, there are two fantastic cafes right outside, perfect for breakfast.

Anonymous UserVery outdated hotel - the interior felt eerie. We stayed in a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke at night. Our shower drain was clogged and would flood (this was fixed however it is not expected of any hotel, let alone a 5 star). Gym was small and equipment is old. Sauna wasn’t working properly - not hot enough. However, staff were friendly and welcoming, and hotel location was convenient if you want to take the tram to tourist sites or walk around the shops, restaurants, etc.
Overall, I don’t think this is a 5 star hotel. I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone looking for a 5 star hotel.

GaryCTAn amazing experience! The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Dolmabahçe Palace. You can walk to the seaside and it's very close to the pier, perfect for evening sightseeing cruises. The service was also excellent and comprehensive. On the hotel's L level, there are Michelin-starred restaurants, including Turkish, Italian, and Japanese options, which is very convenient. The hotel's views are also fantastic, with different room types offering various views, so you can choose according to your preference!

Mathandis2000The hotel is beautiful and clean . The staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in.
What I did not like about the hotel :
- Our room was never cleaned ,we would go out all day and come back to find dishes from last night dinner .
- There were cats all over the hotel inside , everywhere , the lobby, restaurant , the pool ,it’s like a cat rescue or RSPCA
- None of the staff spoke English , even basic English
- The restaurant staff were worse ,due to communication breakdown room service orders were sometimes wrong. Had room service all the time cos the whole place had cats .
- Location is the killer - it’s extremely far from any attractions ,shopping or Turkey experiences
I would recommend for aesthetics - it looks beautiful, the entrance and lobby is amazing ,minus the cats, the pool area is good and the rooms are clean and spacious . For holiday and exploring Turkey do not go there

Shamsa AlhajriThe hotel is decent, though I’d say it’s a 3-star property rather than a 5-star one. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast at all. The rooms are spacious; we booked a family suite and were told it included two large beds and two small ones, but we were disappointed to find only one large bed and two small ones. As for the reception staff, some were helpful while others were not—they lacked a friendly demeanor.
